How far does the trail go?
The Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail covers 18 miles. It begins in the small town of Castroville in the north and goes as far as the hamlet of Pacific Grove in the south. The former Southern Pacific Railway route winds its way along the Pacific Coast.
