WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey - High-Speed Racing
The inauguration of the Pebble Beach Road Races ushered in an era of prestigious auto racing on the Monterey Peninsula, and in 1957, the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca introduced racers and attendees to one of the best tracks in the world. Formerly known as the Laguna Seca Raceway, the track has played host to some of the most famous races in history, hosting Trans Am, AMA motorcycles, CART Indy Car racing and Grand Prix Motorcycling. The raceway itself is a paved 2.2-mile track featuring eleven hairpin turns, and is world-renowned for its famed and challenging "Corkscrew" turn.
