Awesome service - we stayed over for one night and we're blown away with this hotel. Fantastic location with our balcony view then in the evening after we'd been round Monterey, staff came into the room to set the lighting, prepare the bed (turn down covers) and leave chocolates on the bed - we've never experienced this in any hotel we've stayed at anywhere during our travels. Add onto this, a hot tub available after a long day driving and walking and you're totally refreshed. A brilliant stay and we would love to come back - you can't go wrong booking this hotel.

We stayed at the Monterey Bay Inn late February of 2023 and had a wonderful time and experience. The staff was professional and helpful and made checking in fast and efficient. The lobby was clean and so was our room which was on the 3rd floor with ocean view close. Even though we were situated close to the elevator, we found our experience quiet. The king size bed was fabulous which was a big deal to me because I don't normally sleep well in hotel beds. The bathroom upgrade was a real luxurious visual with lots of space for two people to maneuver. Outlets were a little hard to find for charging your electronics, but if you pull the bedside tables slightly away from the wall, voila. We took advantage of the continental breakfast all 3 mornings so that we could enjoy the room, the view and the morning sunshine. The continental breakfast was perfect. Low calorie and enough food to get you going until lunch. It was served right on time and brought directly into our room by friendly maid service. The hotel has two hot tubs, one with a gas fire pit and lovely sitting area the other on the top floor with a view. The hotel is in a good location, still within walking distance to the local shops and restaurants and a short drive to all your sight seeing adventures. I would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was walkable to most things, while still on the water. The breakfast was nothing fancy but was very convenient and a nice touch to have delivered every morning. We’ll be back!
