Possibly the absolute best place to stay when you're in Monterey, CA; they have great views; Continental breakfast with newspaper; and the staff are always extremely polite and courteous!

It's great! Gina Trout ...

It's great! Gina Trout is the best night manager ever! After an unexpectedly long day of travel, Gina was an absolute delight and made up for all the absurdity that comes with flying Alaska Airlines. The Monterey Bay Inn provides a gorgeous view of the bay, excellent staff, and top-notch accomodations. Highly recommended if you're staying in the Cannery Row area!

Very nice, clean rooms, ...

Very nice, clean rooms, amazing views, wonderful people running the place. Breakfast on the balcony was a real treat. "Walking" distance to Cannery Row and the aquarium (I'm fairly out of shape but able-bodied otherwise, the street sidewalks are flat and broad). :)
