We loved our stay here for our anniversary! They were so sweet they left a bottle of wine and chocolates and happy anniversary sign in our room at check in. We got the ocean front room and would highly recommend. Breakfast was lovely too!

Absolutely one of our best hotel stays EVER (and a much better value compared to their more "upscale" competitor up the street!). We were so pleasantly surprised by every aspect of our stay, from the view, to the bathroom, to the continental breakfast. All things considered, probably the best overall value on Cannery Row, if you want high quality at a reasonable cost. MBI will be our go-to accomodations whenever we are in the Monterey.

This is an amazing hotel! We WILL come back again. We booked the hotel as a surprise for my mother-in-law's birthday. The hotel is right on Cannery Row, where there's plenty of stores and restaurants. At the time of booking, we chose rooms with a view of Cannery Row. Upon check in, the concierge kindly let me know they gave us complimentary upgrades for ocean/harbor view. Our hotel room was beautiful, super clean, full of great amenities, plenty of lights. The wifi was east to connect to. We were able to watch different movies on the various DirecTV channels. The bathroom was clean, updated, with plenty of towels. The view of the sunrise ocean from the two rooms really made our morning so memorable. The customer service by the concierge was phenomenal. They greeted us with warm welcomes. They helped us with any questions we had. Again, the complimentary upgrade really made all of our nights. It was a perfect way to spend her birthday trip with our family. Already planning our next trip out there :)

Sitting on my balcony having a delicious breakfast, served to the room, watching the ocean was paradise. I normally play Ocean Sounds at night to sleep, but here, I just opened the door and listened to the real ones! I think this was my favorite hotel stay ever in the US. I also was amazed by the California coastline. Point Lobos was my favorite. Big Sur was next best. And just driving along the coast between Carmel and Monterrey was gorgeous. I can't wait to return!

We stayed at Monterey Bay Inn for four nights during the jazz festival. But, we could have easily stayed four more nights. The room was large and very clean. The staff serviced the room daily--they made the bed, cleaned the bathroom and brought in clean towels. When we arrived, staff had left a bottle of Merlot from a local winery, two bottles of sparkling water and chocolates in the room for us to enjoy. And, the view and the sounds of the bay were so spectacular, we slept with the sliding door open just to enjoy the sounds of the waves and sea life. The fireplace, which was functional, gave the room a nice romantic touch. Staff members were friendly and efficient and always addressed us by our name whenever we had a request. We have already made our reservation to stay there again when we go back to Monterey for the 2022 Jazz Festival.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at the Monterey Bay Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even sent us a complimentary bottle of wine to our room when we told them we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed in a room with a balcony with a partial Bay view. The view was awesome and the balcony was very private. We even left the balcony door open through the night so we could fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks and beach below and the faint sound of the sea lions barking in the distance. They left an order card on our door every day for breakfast and they delivered breakfast to our door exactly as ordered and right on time every morning. The fruit was fresh, the pastries were fresh and warm and the coffee was delicious. The hot tub was very clean and always the perfect temp. and the view from the 4th floor hot tub breathtaking. The location was perfect for our plans. It's about a 10 minute walk one way to Cannery Row and about a 10 minute walk the other way to Old Fisherman's Wharf. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you Monterey Bay Inn for the perfect stay!

Only stayed here for two nights and only wish it could have been more, the staff, the accommodations everything was perfect, I will definitely be looking for my next stay here once more.

The hotel didn't look like it would be as nice as it was from the street side upon arrival, but this was a very nice and clean hotel that was easy walking distance to the Cannery Row/Aquarium area. The standard room is very roomy with a nice ocean view. Hotel also had complimentary continental breakfast too. When compared to other hotel pricing in the area this was a great value. I would easily stay here again.

We just stayed for our first time and will return. We had a harbor view room on the 4th floor. We never even turned on the TV, as sitting in the balcony was amazing. San Carlos beach is steps away, so our daughter enjoyed that. Our room had a king bed (not very comfortable), plenty of space & a really great/large bathroom. We'll be back!
