We loved our 3 day stay here. Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. They provided us a list (paper) of great places to eat after we asked if about eateries. The room was very clean and set up nicely so the bed is facing the beach. It was amazing to wake up and see the water and beach. It is a only a few yards to the sand on a beach that is not crowded and also very clean. Everything is within walking distance, Cannery row, beach, Monterey historic park, aquarium, pier and the SEALS. The hotel is literally on the water, its smaller hotel but we enjoy that since it tends to be more peaceful and quiet . The bathroom was clean and updated with dual sinks! Made it convenient for us to get ready in the mornings.

Fantastic location with our balcony view then in the evening after we'd been round Monterey, staff came into the room to set the lighting, prepare the bed (turn down covers) and leave chocolates on the bed - we've never experienced this in any hotel we've stayed at anywhere during our travels. Add onto this, a hot tub available after a long day driving and walking and you're totally refreshed. A brilliant stay and we would love to come back - you can't go wrong booking this hotel.

Gina was the best !!! Nicest lady ever. She truthfully is a one of a kind. I had stayed here just for a night with my boyfriend who was only in down for a short bit of time but we decided to do a last minute trip to Monterey and it was amazing . Thank you

Very clean room, nice size and very helpful staff. Great stay in Monterey. walk to the aquarium a few minutes, to the harbor as well.
