Wonderful stay! Great location and great staff.

Such a wonderful place to stay. Walking distance from several restaurants which are so good along with shops and a coffee shop. We had an ocean view room. So clean and the staff were so kind and eager to Help. We received a beautiful breakfast which was brought right to our room. Can’t say enough about this place. Worth every penny

Last minute, we decided to stay at this cute little hotel for one night , very quaint ,. Nice sized room , comfy bed , nice little balcony and great view of park and bay , sea lions and otters , great free continental breakfast , with a parking garage is a big plus as parking can be hard to find and pricey . Friendly staff , room service , we would definitely stay again !!! And I almost forgot. They have cute jacuzzi in the roof overlooking the open ocean !!!

Exploring the aquarium was a highlight of my trip, and being so close made it incredibly convenient. Additionally, the surrounding area is filled with charming shops and delightful dining options, all within easy walking distance. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh seafood or a cozy café, you’ll find plenty to choose from. The inn itself is beautifully appointed, featuring comfortable rooms that provide a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met during my stay. In summary, the Monterey Bay Inn combines a breathtaking location with comfort and convenience. It’s perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Monterey, making it a top choice for travelers!

This is the second time we have stayed here. The rooms are clean and spacious. The rooms with baloneys and views of the bay and ocean are wonderful. The tasty breakfast that is delivered to your room each morning is a great way to start your day. I like that you can walk to the shops, restaurants and wharf. It is also a quick drive to Carmel. All the staff is nice and friendly. We like the free cookies at check in and free bottled water. The hotel offers different discounted packages which you can choose from, and different packages are offered at different times of the year. We took the 15% off one time and the whale watching package another time.

I'll be staying here again when im back in monterey rooms with a view were amazing

When I come back to monterey this is where ill be staying again ,amazing room with a view ,and the staff was very friendly.

We rode the Harley up from SoCal and it was so pretty when we got there, we reconsidered upgrading to a room with a better view. We paid a little more and were given room 320. The view is gorgeous! We watched the sunrise, birds and sea otters. There were baby otters calling to their mothers directly below our room. Adorable! We were right on Cannery row so we walked to the local shops and dinner. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They took towels to the hot tub when we mentioned going. The hot tub on the fourth floor was amazing! Beautiful view, hot water and the jet settings were perfect. Everything was clean, cozy bed, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, the fireplace was lit in our room. It was wonderful. You fill out a card to hang from the door for free breakfast and when you’d like it. The fruit was delicious! We also enjoyed the croissants, yogurt and coffee. I highly recommend a stay here and if you’re able, get room 320. There’s another room like ours but I don’t know the number. They have jetted tubs in them. Ours overlooked the water.😁

Everything that previous reviews made are true. A wonderful place to stay. Rm clean, spacious, very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Lovely continental breakfast in our room, with great carafe of hot coffee! Will definitely return. Thank you for a memorable stay.
