Lovely hotel with amazing views

Great views from the room of the ocean. Love sleeping with balcony open and listening to ocean waves. Walking distance to all canary rd and the old wharf. Great location.

If you love watching marine life, you will love a sea view room at this hotel. We found the hardest thing, was leaving the balcony to explore the area! Loved watching sea otters, sea lions and so much bird life from the balcony- a gorgeous sea view across to the coastline. You can sleep with the patio doors open (if you enjoy the sound of the sea) or close them and all is quiet. Our room was super clean and charming. Staff were all friendly, very helpful and the breakfast delivered to the room was gorgeous- what a treat!! Would definitely hope to stay here if visiting again. Thank you Team Monterey Bay Inn for making our 40th anniversary extra special- enjoyed the bottle of rose fizz!

Our view from our room was wonderful. Bay view with views of otters and sea lions. The room was comfortable. The bed and linens were of high quality and the decor was upscale. The breakfast was simple but got us up with coffee and small bites. It hit the spot. We loved the cookies at 3pm. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming.

Found a bottle of champagne and chocolate in our room in honor of our anniversary. Yer, the front counter employee was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on where to eat. The hot tub overlooking the harbor was enjoyable, albeit pretty small. The second floor hot tub felt like a lukewarm bath so we stuck to the 4th floor hot tub. The bed was comfortable. Daily complimentary water bottles were appreciated.

Ideal ocean side property in downtown area of Monterey. Close to shops & restaurants. Comfortable well equipped rooms & helpful staff. On site (chargeable $28) parking. Lots to see & do in area. If time permits pop over to nearby Fishermen’s Wharf to view the “locals” having a fun time ! (Seals & Sea Lions).

Excellent location on Cannery Row. Walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel was very nice and my favorite was the hot tub looking over the ocean!! Cookies in the lobby every night at 4pm and lovely staff!
