Wonderful hotel right on the water. Fantastic bed. Slept with the door open. Screen door was annoying to close; it kept slipping off its grooves. They charge for onsite garage parking. The lobby relaxation music is entirely annoyingly too loud. But it’s a great stay due to its location. Super clean. Big rooms. Loved it and will return for longer next time!

We stayed at the Monterey Bay Inn late February of 2023 and had a wonderful time and experience. The staff was professional and helpful and made checking in fast and efficient. The lobby was clean and so was our room which was on the 3rd floor with ocean view close. Even though we were situated close to the elevator, we found our experience quiet. The king size bed was fabulous which was a big deal to me because I don't normally sleep well in hotel beds. The bathroom upgrade was a real luxurious visual with lots of space for two people to maneuver. Outlets were a little hard to find for charging your electronics, but if you pull the bedside tables slightly away from the wall, voila. We took advantage of the continental breakfast all 3 mornings so that we could enjoy the room, the view and the morning sunshine. The continental breakfast was perfect. Low calorie and enough food to get you going until lunch. It was served right on time and brought directly into our room by friendly maid service. The hotel has two hot tubs, one with a gas fire pit and lovely sitting area the other on the top floor with a view. The hotel is in a good location, still within walking distance to the local shops and restaurants and a short drive to all your sight seeing adventures. I would definitely stay here again.
