Great location overlooking park and ocean and close to Aquarium and restaurants

The view was awesome. Location good too.

The room was clean as always and the front desk staff was super helpful. Gave plenty of good restaurant recommendations. This is our second visit and solidified us coming back again.

View was amazing

The view from the open balcony is so relaxing. I love waking up and having my morning coffee, watching the sunrise on the water.

Excellent location on Cannery Row. Walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel was very nice and my favorite was the hot tub looking over the ocean!! Cookies in the lobby every night at 4pm and lovely staff!

Ideal ocean side property in downtown area of Monterey. Close to shops & restaurants. Comfortable well equipped rooms & helpful staff. On site (chargeable $28) parking. Lots to see & do in area. If time permits pop over to nearby Fishermen’s Wharf to view the “locals” having a fun time ! (Seals & Sea Lions).

Coming to Monterey has been a goal for many years. We chose Monterey Bay Inn because it is on the water and is a short walk to Cannery Row. The location was all we could have hoped for. The views of the bay were amazing, and Cannery Row is a nice 1/2 mile stroll. The hotel is very comfortable and would be very quiet, except for the barking sea lions, not a big deal. The hotel serves a continental breakfast to the room each morning. There is pastry, hard-boiled egg, fresh fruit, yogurt, and coffee.

Bay front hotel with spacious rooms. Staff are lovely- very helpful and full of great advice. Rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Parking on site (fee) and within 5 minutes walk of the seafront, Cannery Row and downtown Monterey.
