Everyone was inviting and helpful, and I even got an upgrade when I checked in. A lovely surprise! I forgot my phone charger, and the front desk employee, Cisnero, let me borrow his charger. A wonderful gesture!! Thanks again to Stacey, Beth, and Cisnero for your great customer service!

The location is perfect! A 15 no more than 20 minute walk to most places. Loved that the premises were clean well and surfaces in the room were not dusty or overlooked. We received a complimentary breakfast that was delivered each morning at a time that we chose. The room itself was amazing! Panoramic view of the harbor with a balcony that did not disappoint! Right off the beach/ocean. Weather was perfect and left the balcony door open all night with the fireplace one. Spectacular view of the harbor. Sun rise over the mountains while watching the waves below. Great amount of space, comfy bed and pillows, good amount of seating areas, bathroom had enough towels for two for a two night stay. All staff that we encountered were so nice and helpful! Darren definitely went above and beyond and we are so grateful! Thanks Darren for your hospitality and the great conversation! We were sad to leave as this property was great. Definitely worth the splurge! No complaints here!

We had a top floor ocean view room that was next door to the roof hot tub. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room. The Inn a short walk to Cannery Row and just a bit further (25min walk) to downtown Monterey. Parking was a bit tight(narrow)

We loved Monterey Bay Inn. Have no complaints. We stayed in room 409. Staff was great, room beautiful and view even better.

The hotel didn't look like it would be as nice as it was from the street side upon arrival, but this was a very nice and clean hotel that was easy walking distance to the Cannery Row/Aquarium area. The standard room is very roomy with a nice ocean view. Hotel also had complimentary continental breakfast too. When compared to other hotel pricing in the area this was a great value. I would easily stay here again.

Only stayed here for two nights and only wish it could have been more, the staff, the accommodations everything was perfect, I will definitely be looking for my next stay here once more.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at the Monterey Bay Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even sent us a complimentary bottle of wine to our room when we told them we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed in a room with a balcony with a partial Bay view. The view was awesome and the balcony was very private. We even left the balcony door open through the night so we could fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks and beach below and the faint sound of the sea lions barking in the distance. They left an order card on our door every day for breakfast and they delivered breakfast to our door exactly as ordered and right on time every morning. The fruit was fresh, the pastries were fresh and warm and the coffee was delicious. The hot tub was very clean and always the perfect temp. and the view from the 4th floor hot tub breathtaking. The location was perfect for our plans. It's about a 10 minute walk one way to Cannery Row and about a 10 minute walk the other way to Old Fisherman's Wharf. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you Monterey Bay Inn for the perfect stay!

We stayed at Monterey Bay Inn for four nights during the jazz festival. But, we could have easily stayed four more nights. The room was large and very clean. The staff serviced the room daily--they made the bed, cleaned the bathroom and brought in clean towels. When we arrived, staff had left a bottle of Merlot from a local winery, two bottles of sparkling water and chocolates in the room for us to enjoy. And, the view and the sounds of the bay were so spectacular, we slept with the sliding door open just to enjoy the sounds of the waves and sea life. The fireplace, which was functional, gave the room a nice romantic touch. Staff members were friendly and efficient and always addressed us by our name whenever we had a request. We have already made our reservation to stay there again when we go back to Monterey for the 2022 Jazz Festival.

Sitting on my balcony having a delicious breakfast, served to the room, watching the ocean was paradise. I normally play Ocean Sounds at night to sleep, but here, I just opened the door and listened to the real ones! I think this was my favorite hotel stay ever in the US. I also was amazed by the California coastline. Point Lobos was my favorite. Big Sur was next best. And just driving along the coast between Carmel and Monterrey was gorgeous. I can't wait to return!
