Great place! The rooms are very nice. Beautiful view from your balcony. The people that work here are very helpful and nice. Continental breakfast delivered to your room. I highly recommend this place.

A wonderful hotel in the perfect location for our Monterey stay. Staff were polite & accommodating, rooms clean, views were amazing, breakfast to our room was delightful, balcony was a real treat and the bed was extremely comfortable. The free parking made our stay convenient and stress free. Get up early & enjoy the sunrise! Highly recommend & cannot wait to return!

We loved our stay in Monterey Bay Inn. We loved the view of the bay, hearing the waves crash on the rocky shore, and the sound of sea lions barking in the distance. This is a beautiful hotel, great amenities, and breakfast brought to your room each day is a nice touch. The bathroom is better than any I'd seen in a hotel.

What a great hotel! The staff were very nice, the location was exceptional but the room is what made the difference. First of all there was some room to move around. There were two nice chairs to sit in with a nice coffee table as well as a balcony with a great view of the bay and two chairs and a table. The bathroom had two sinks and lots of counter space and shelves below. There was a separate lavatory room with a door and a nice shower. The beds and pillows were just great and we slept like babies. There was a nice coffee service in the room with a Keurig machine. The safe was in the closet and there was a notch cut out of the corner and an electrical plug on the wall so that you could charge your laptop or iPad while the device was locked up. The room price included a continental breakfast, delivered to your room, each morning. You filled out the card and marked anything that you wanted and the time and it showed up at the time in the morning that you selected. And there was room in the room to actually enjoy it. There is also a coffee service in the lobby in the morning for early risers. Also, there are two hot tubs that guests can take advantage of. We tried the fourth floor outdoor hot tub where you can sit and get spectacular views of the bay. There is also a hot tum on the second floor without the view but with a fire pit . We throughly enjoyed our three-day stay here.

The view was spectacular and all of the visible sea life put on a once in a life time show. The Otters were especially adorable , cute and performing many of the eating habits every morning about 15 yards off the embankment. We all especially reveled in the closeness to the Harbor, the water diving park, and food establishments. We ate very well, the walked off the dinner. The walk to the Aquarium took about 15 minutes. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was accommodated our many physical short comings. ( Bad Backs ) The bathroom with two sinks and a closed separate lavatory was outstanding in accommodating the activities of two little girls. We plan on returning in the near future with more family members taking more rooms.

Great location, Little pricey but worth it! Nice Breakfast brought to your room! Close to everything you will want to do. Bring your bikes because the bike path is one block over easy to get to. Helpful & Friendly Staff!

We booked a room at the Monterey Bay Inn based on a recommendation. Every aspect of our stay was above our expectations. Our room was upgraded when we arrived. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and inviting. The location is perfect for walking to attractions and for an early morning jog. They even brought a morning breakfast to our room. Great relaxing evenings by the fire pit and jacuzzi. No need to look for any other place to stay.

I loved this hotel, and although we only spent one night there on our two week trek around the west coast, this was one of my favourite stops. The executive rooms are just beautiful, with patio doors that open onto a small balcony revealing nothing other than the ocean horizon. If you close the shutters but leave the doors open, you'll fall asleep, and indeed awaken, to the blissful sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Enjoy a lovely fresh breakfast and crisp newspaper whilst sitting on the balcony in your dressing gown. What could be better in this sleepy fisherman's town? Well, the rooftop ocean view jacuzzi definitely gives it a go. The service is very friendly, you'll feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Terribly romantic. Just wonderful!

Great hotel right on the beach! The bed was so comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly! There were binoculars in the room which was awesome when we noticed a bunch of otters were near the coast and a school of dolphins came by for a show! We will definitely be back! We upgraded to a room on the ocean side this time which was so awesome! Last year we stayed here for one night with a partial view. This time we stayed 3 wonderful nights. The jacuzzi on the roof is so much fun at night with the lights of the bay. There is so much to do here in Monterey.

The staff is extremely helpful and nice, and the rooms are very comfortable. This was our second stay here and this will be our top choice each time we visit the Monterey area.
