Dennis was very accommodating! It was my gf birthday weekend and we had a blast here! The rooftop hot tub, the easy parking…we can’t wait to come back to Monterey bay inn. We Loved our stay here! Found a seal at the beach as well!

Loved this hotel. Front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. Bayside suite (wasn’t really a suite but had two chairs and a small coffee table) was nice with balcony. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable and linens good quality. Liked the continental breakfast delivered to my door at a time I specified each morning. Parking was easy and fairly reasonable at $25 a night compared to Plaza a block away that was $48. Location was just at the end of cannery row so it was more quiet, which I liked. Chart House restaurant was a couple blocks away. Would stay here again.

The hotel was incredible. Nice overall atmosphere and look, but especially the location is amazing. Directly at the beach with great views of the beach and the village. Furthermore, we want to say a big thank you to the very supportive staff there, especially Conrad. We had a car problem and he helped us to find a solution for it. We would definitely recommend this place.

Considering I knew what I was getting into (price), its hard to be disappointed. So i have to give it a 5, again, based on knowing what I was getting into. Lets face it, the place was built in the 30's. So if you are expecting modern day equivalent accommodations, you might be disappointed. I didn't expect it, so I wasn't. I picked it because I wanted a view to relax upon. Location was great, damn sea lions kept me up all night as they were barking 24/7. I just chalk that up as a once in a lifetime experience as they aren't normally there in mass like this. The staff was helpful. My room was clean and I didn't notice any issues like others did. Thin walls? Again the place was built in the 30's. Surprised its still there to be honest. Hard bed? My bed at home is on the stiff side. Pillows? A bit weak, but they do give you an option for different pillows. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but it was nice. Parking, this is where the age of the hotel comes in. The spaces are too small for modern cars. Saw a few trucks and sedans that did not fit in their spaces, but it is what it is. I would have no issues staying here again.

Just spent this past weekend there with my wife, the rooms were good and comfortable, we had a good view of the ocean from our room, there are a bunch of sealions on the beach making noise, but the hotel will give you earplugs so you can sleep, great location walking distance to cannery row, we will stay there again thanks for the service.

Quiet, inn stunning views across the bay towards fisherman's wharf and beyond. Basic but adequate breakfast, and very pleasant and helpful staff. Love listening to sea lions from the room.

Great little hotel right on Monterey Bay ( see photos). You can walk to many places, including the aquarium and Cannery Row. The aquarium is pricy ($65 per person), but fish need to be fed a lot so that they don't eat each other. I will do a review of the aquarium tomorrow, 7/3/24, and I'll have pictures.
