After 4 days of breathing all the smoke from the recent fires in Sonoma, we booked 2 nights here. I chose the bay view as a compromise between city and ocean views. I actually like the view better than just looking out to sea. We looked out over the bay and the Coast Guard pier. The staff were very professional. The room was clean and spacious. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room. All in all, a very relaxing stay.

The location is excellent, right at the start of Cannery Row and within an easy walk of all the attractions. The rooms are comfortable, cosy and stylish with lovely views over the bay. Good breakfast and friendly service.

If you want a coveted bat front room with balcony, this is the best buy. Substantially cheaper than the Monterey plaza next door. It does not have all the amenities of a luxury hotel and the rooms are very nicr but not opulent. The bay front room is fantastic. Continental breakfast is brought to your room at a time of your choosing. Staff is friendly and efficient. The sound of the ocean are wonderful to fall asleep to. You can sit on the balcony all day to enjoy the sights of the bay. Otters and seals come by regularly.

From the minute we arrived we were amazed, the clerk Kyree greeted us and checked us in giving us a lovely room overlooking the bay. When we opened the door we were so pleased to find what can only be described as a 4 star hotel accommodation at a much less price. In every way it was wonderful, lovely furnishings, spotlessly clean, a huge bathroom and so much more. it was located in Cannery Row area, easy walking to Fisherman's Wharf and some great restaurants. Also so convenient to explore the surrounding area including Pebble Beach. Wished we did not have to leave. We highly recommend this hotel

Best place ever! If I could give this place more then 5 stars I would! I couldn’t be happier with the stay! They over booked cannery row and then upgraded us to ocean few. Very nice people very friendly. Rooms were very clean brought breakfast up to the room if we needed anything they were more then helpful will definitely spend the money and go back again.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Monterey Bay Inn as part of our 2 week trip. Our room was clean and comfortable. Loved the balcony looking out over the bay. We heard sea lions barking, which we thought was wonderful. The next morning, we were allowed to leave our car in the parking garage of the hotel after check out. This was so helpful, as it allowed us to spend the morning exploring Cannery Row and the aquarium. Lots of places within walking distance. We enjoyed walking out on the pier, which is very close to the hotel. Saw lots of seals, sea lions and otters. The landscaping and park close to the hotel are beautiful. We hope to return for a longer stay

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. They even sent up a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday!!

Picked an Ocean view room for my stay here for my birthday! Great view! Decent breakfast. I do hope the rail on the forth floor area is replaced soon looks like a danger waiting to happen. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was awesome! We spent a few days here and it was great. The continental breakfast delivered at your door is SO convenient and safe, and the staff is super nice. Lovely views of the harbor, and the seals aren’t so bad at night, actually thought it was cool to see and hear them ;) Some people in these reviews complain about thin walls, and we definitely heard the person above us walking around, but nothing too disturbing or anything I felt the need to complain about, especially with the views you get! Great price, parking was easy, and there is a perfect walking path to Fishermans wharf that is even well-lit at night. Very convenient hotel and I felt very safe in our clean room. Even seemed like they washed the carpets before we got there, could definitely tell it was cleaned to the max. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back! With love, from SoCal!

A beautiful view from a well-appointed room. Everything exceeded expectations. Note: The seal barking can keep you up at night, so suggest that light-sleepers bring ear plugs. Otherwise a wonderful experience!
