We spend every other year at the Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff signs a celebratory card and we are provided a complimentary bottle of wine. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. The Inn sees to it that we stay in the same room every visit. Our visits are between five and eight wonderful days. We will keep coming back.

This is the only place we stay in Monterey! We’ve stayed here many times over the years and have never been disappointed. The staff are always super nice and accommodating. The views are incredible and the location is perfect. Highly recommended!

This is our second time staying here. Absolutely Love It.

We just enjoyed four nights at the Monterey Bay Inn and I can’t say enough nice things about it. Everything at this boutique hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast delivered to the room every morning was a great way to start the day. We had a harbor-view king room with a balcony overlooking a small beach park, tide pools, a fountain, and a wharf and marina in the distance. I can close my eyes and still see it all. If you are considering a visit, do not hesitate!

We booked for an anniversary weekend & once we arrived, everything was so pleasant. Parking was easy, lobby was relaxing with aroma therapy & calming music. The front desk concierge was welcoming, kind & knowledgeable. Room was clean, modern & well maintained. The not tub areas were also clean & well maintained. Would absolutely stay here again. The only thing that was a little much was the volume of the music in the lobby hallway to the elevator was a bit higher than I would prefer. Overall, amazing stay!

We just stayed for our first time and will return. We had a harbor view room on the 4th floor. We never even turned on the TV, as sitting in the balcony was amazing. San Carlos beach is steps away, so our daughter enjoyed that. Our room had a king bed (not very comfortable), plenty of space & a really great/large bathroom. We'll be back!

The hotel didn't look like it would be as nice as it was from the street side upon arrival, but this was a very nice and clean hotel that was easy walking distance to the Cannery Row/Aquarium area. The standard room is very roomy with a nice ocean view. Hotel also had complimentary continental breakfast too. When compared to other hotel pricing in the area this was a great value. I would easily stay here again.

Only stayed here for two nights and only wish it could have been more, the staff, the accommodations everything was perfect, I will definitely be looking for my next stay here once more.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay at the Monterey Bay Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even sent us a complimentary bottle of wine to our room when we told them we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed in a room with a balcony with a partial Bay view. The view was awesome and the balcony was very private. We even left the balcony door open through the night so we could fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks and beach below and the faint sound of the sea lions barking in the distance. They left an order card on our door every day for breakfast and they delivered breakfast to our door exactly as ordered and right on time every morning. The fruit was fresh, the pastries were fresh and warm and the coffee was delicious. The hot tub was very clean and always the perfect temp. and the view from the 4th floor hot tub breathtaking. The location was perfect for our plans. It's about a 10 minute walk one way to Cannery Row and about a 10 minute walk the other way to Old Fisherman's Wharf. We will definitely be staying here again! We stayed at Monterey Bay Inn for four nights during the jazz festival. But, we could have easily stayed four more nights. The room was large and very clean. The staff serviced the room daily--they made the bed, cleaned the bathroom and brought in clean towels. When we arrived, staff had left a bottle of Merlot from a local winery, two bottles of sparkling water and chocolates in the room for us to enjoy. And, the view and the sounds of the bay were so spectacular, we slept with the sliding door open just to enjoy the sounds of the waves and sea life. The fireplace, which was functional, gave the room a nice romantic touch. Staff members were friendly and efficient and always addressed us by our name whenever we had a request. We have already made our reservation to stay there again when we go back to Monterey for the 2022 Jazz Festival.
