This location is in the middle of everything. We walked to Cannery Row, walked to Fishermans Wharf, both easy to do. Get a high room, harbor side, its beautiful. Love the breakfast delivered right to the room.

We stayed at Monterey Bay Inn for 4 nights and never had a problem. Hotel was clean and close to the marina, restaurants, and shops. The room was spacious and the bed was firm (that is the way we like it). Breakfast was brought to the room every morning (muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit). We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching all the wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous views of the water and next to a fantastic paved walking trail. We were able to leave our car parked in the covered garage and walk down to the wharf. Our room was very clean with a huge bathroom. The breakfast is very simple but we always ate a bigger lunch and late dinner anyway. I only removed one star because the bed was super firm although having a pillow menu helped, so the second night was not too bad. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to any friends/family if they travel to Monterey.

This is our favorite place to stay. The staff is always welcoming and responsive to our needs. We have our favorite room with a very specific view; the staff always tries to accommodate our preference when we stay here.

First time staying here. Got a very nice free room upgrade. Views of bay and all the wildlife are spectacular. Walking distance to many restaurants. Highly recommend
