Amazing room and perfectly located in the middle of everything. We traveled with our two year old and didn't have any issues. The complimentary breakfast each morning was an added bonus.

Loved the location. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was awesome- best muffins ever! Bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Do not judge a hotel by its cover. At first glance this place isn't that inviting, but once you get in and you're greeted by the friendly staff, your perspective suddenly changes. This was a quick weekend getaway trip for my wife, and we had booked a room with a Ocean view, but our first room view was obstructed and after a quick call we were upgrade to a full ocean view room. Our room was awesome! Very spacious with a large bathroom and huge outdoor patio. The patio offer almost a full 180' view of the ocean and parts of DT Monterey. The hotel was pretty full based on the parking lot, but we never heard a peep from anyone. Did I mention that sea otters were hanging out in the ocean in front of our patio?! This is a great hotel option for a Monterey visit. Close to Downtown, walkable to Cannery Row, and tons of food options nearby.

Wonderful stay at this small inn. It is centrally located on Cannery Row, .5 miles from Aquarium and .5 miles from Old Fisherman's Wharf. We had a water front room directly on the bay. The room was very comfortable. The Continental Breakfast delivered to the room is an excellent way to start your day!

Room w/a stellar view and the best service is a special bonus! We absolutely LOVE staying at Monterey Bay Inn and do so multiple times a year! The staff, Beth, Staci, Dennis and Alex all make us feel like this is our true home away from home! The housekeeping staff take pride in their jobs, as is evident by the immaculate rooms and friendly smiles and service. The experience here is consistently positive. We particularly enjoy relaxing mornings with a delightful breakfast and coffee, delivered right to the room, while sitting on the balcony watching the wildlife, such as otters, seals, dolphins, all kinds of birds, even osprey! This place is good for the soul!

The clerks were so nice and welcoming. The 2 hot tubs were excellent. My husband and I tried both of them. 4th-floor hot tub was top-tier, and the view was breathtaking. Walking distance to our couples massage next door . We will be returning soon.
