Great location overlooking park and ocean and close to Aquarium and restaurants

The view was awesome. Location good too.

The room was clean as always and the front desk staff was super helpful. Gave plenty of good restaurant recommendations. This is our second visit and solidified us coming back again.

View was amazing

The view from the open balcony is so relaxing. I love waking up and having my morning coffee, watching the sunrise on the water.

Excellent location on Cannery Row. Walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel was very nice and my favorite was the hot tub looking over the ocean!! Cookies in the lobby every night at 4pm and lovely staff!

Ideal ocean side property in downtown area of Monterey. Close to shops & restaurants. Comfortable well equipped rooms & helpful staff. On site (chargeable $28) parking. Lots to see & do in area. If time permits pop over to nearby Fishermen’s Wharf to view the “locals” having a fun time ! (Seals & Sea Lions).

Our view from our room was wonderful. Bay view with views of otters and sea lions. The room was comfortable. The bed and linens were of high quality and the decor was upscale. The breakfast was simple but got us up with coffee and small bites. It hit the spot. We loved the cookies at 3pm. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming.

High marks to front desk. I had a wonderful check-in. Very very helpful staff member. Our room had a spectacular view Delivered breakfast was a lovely way to start the day.

If you love watching marine life, you will love a sea view room at this hotel. We found the hardest thing, was leaving the balcony to explore the area! Loved watching sea otters, sea lions and so much bird life from the balcony- a gorgeous sea view across to the coastline. You can sleep with the patio doors open (if you enjoy the sound of the sea) or close them and all is quiet. Our room was super clean and charming. Staff were all friendly, very helpful and the breakfast delivered to the room was gorgeous- what a treat!! Would definitely hope to stay here if visiting again. Thank you Team Monterey Bay Inn for making our 40th anniversary extra special- enjoyed the bottle of rose fizz!
